Proove has been growing internationally with projects in Belgium, France, Portugal, Norway... To reinforce our presence in the French market, we are looking for a Business Developer that will be pivotal in developing our presence in the country.

Your tasks

As a Business Developer for Proove in France, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and expanding our customer base in the French market. You see opportunities and have the drive to make Proove an established player in France.

  • You will use your excellent convincing skills and knowledge of the construction and engineering industry to cold call potential clients and present them with the benefits of our academy, software and service solutions.
  • You will work closely with software vendors and the internal team to provide the best possible service and support to our customers.
  • You will manage the sales cycle, from prospecting, through close, to aftercare, and ensure that the sales targets and objectives are met.
  • You will handle various administrative tasks related to business operations, including business administration, accounting, and human resources (HR) activities.
  • You will report to the Country Lead and collaborate with the international Proove sales team.

The ideal candidate

  • You are an analytical and entrepreneurial industrial / civil / business engineer with at least 3 years of experience in sales (preferably in the software or construction & engineering industry).
  • French is your native language, and you are fluent in English.
  • You have knowledge of Oracle Construction and Engineering products, or you are willing to learn them.
  • You are administratively structured, proactive and demonstrate a can-do attitude.
  • You have strong negotiation and presentation skills, and you can adapt to different audiences and situations.
  • You have a customer-oriented mindset, and you can build long-term relationships and trust with your clients.
